The vision of the Edmonds PTA Council 7.2 is to be a relevant resource for all parent leaders in the Edmonds School District. Together we advocate for the well-being and education of all children.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Edmonds PTA Council is to unite the voices of the parent leaders through the Edmonds Parent Leaders Group, with a strong emphasis on equity, opportunity, and diversity for our students and families. We will collaborate with parent leaders to share knowledge, training, ideas, and events.

Edmonds PTA Council meetings are open to leaders from ALL Edmonds Parent groups, regardless of affiliation.

2023-24 School Year Updates
Edmonds Parent Leaders Group & PTA Council strives to make parent support more equitable for all students in the district. We need your voice and your help to make that happen.
If you have just a few hours a month to spare, there are awesome opportunities to represent your school, your industry, or your interests as a representative/liaison to a committee, communications professional, or even just as an advocate.
Currently looking to fill these roles for the 2023-24 school year:
- Grants Chair
- Capacity Planning (moving 6th to middle school)
- School Board liaison
- Community Outreach (connect to community organizations: Verdant, Edmonds Foundation, Edmonds Art Festival, Move60)
- Quad Representative
- Volunteer Recognition Event Planning

The mission of the national PTA and Edmonds PTA Council 7.2 is to be a relevant resource for families, schools and communities and to be a strong advocate for the well-being and education of all children. In conjunction with the Edmonds School District, the Edmonds PTA Council supports the overarching goals of effective teaching and learning, with strong emphasis on equity, opportunity, and diversity for our students and families.
The main goal of the Edmonds PTSA Council 7.2 is to bring parent leaders in our district together and unite our PTAs and other Parent Groups as one voice in the Edmonds School District. We are focused on sharing knowledge, information, ideas and events related to specific topics of interest to parent groups; providing training and resources for our parent leaders; and supporting general parent education, in coordination with our District and community resources.
